About The Course
A rare and exciting opportunity to join Suryacitta (one of the UK's foremost Mindfulness teachers - in person, right here in Nottingham!) for some in-depth Mindfulness training and practice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the theory and practice of Mindfulness directly from a highly experienced teacher who is one of the leading figures on the international Mindfulness scene and also the acclaimed author of several popular books on Mindfulness, including the best-seller 'Happiness & How It Happens: Finding Contentment Through Mindfulness'.
Starting today, Suryacitta will lead 8 sessions of teaching and meditation practice (all held in a relaxing, retreat-style atmosphere) which will run back-to-back over 4 consecutive days - with one session being held each morning and afternoon.
You have the option to attend just the first 4 sessions (running over Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th) or all 8 sessions (which run from Saturday 12th through to Tuesday 15th inclusive). See below for full details and costs.
The 8 separate sessions will cover the different aspects of Mindfulness in an informative, enlightening and deeply experiential way. These sessions are all suitable for both beginners and those who wish to refresh or deepen their existing practice.
Starting with the basic principles and core practices, the 8 sessions will gradually explore Mindfulness in a step-by-step way - moving forward slowly into a profound understanding of the deep wisdom of Mindfulness and how it should be correctly practised.
Together the sessions form a comprehensive Mindfulness course - taught by an acclaimed expert - that will help you to find serenity and fulfilment... and which will introduce you to a profound and powerful new way to engage with your own life.
Each of the sessions will be fun, relaxed and informal - they'll all include periods of guided meditation, some time for group discussion, plus periods of question and answer. A full handbook containing all the teaching material will also be provided to each participant.
