A Saturday afternoon Workshop with Julia Wahl

This will be a fun and informative afternoon of teaching and practical, interactive exercises lead by Julia
- a Psychologist based at Derby University, and highly experienced Mindfulness Teacher and Compassion Therapy Coach.

During the afternoon Julia will guide us gently through the practices and techniques of Mindful Compassion, teaching us how to develop and build the transformative power of Compassion within our own lives: Compassion for Ourselves, Compassion for Others...and the often overlooked ability to receive Compassion from others.

Julia is a qualified Psychologist who was trained in Mindfulness by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and who also studied Compassion Therapy under Christopher Germer, founder of the acclaimed 8 week Mindful Self-Compassion Course and the bestselling author of the book 'The Mindful Way to Self Compassion'. She generated a phenomenal response on the two occasions she has been with us as a guest speaker at our regular Thursday meetings, and we're are absolutely thrilled to welcome her back to lead this afternoon Workshop.
