A Saturday afternoon Workshop
with Pete Anderson
Saturday 22nd October, 1pm to 5.30pm
at The Tiger Boe Centre, 7 Clarendon St, Nottingham NG1 5HS
An afternoon with Pete Anderson, a leading Mindfulness teacher and wellbeing coach here in Nottingham, who will guide us gently through the ways Mindfulness can be used to help us better manage our emotions.
For more information, or to book your place, see below...
During this fun and interactive afternoon, we'll explore the nature and origins of our emotions - and the profound ways in which Mindfulness enables to better understand them. We will also learn techniques that can help us to handle our feelings with greater balance...and with much greater compassion towards both ourself and others.
In the course of this Workshop we'll also explore the deep interconnection that exists between our emotions and our body, discovering the powerful, two-way relationship between posture and movement and the way we are feeling.
Pete is a highly experienced tutor and course facilitator. He also has extensive professional experience in holistic health and personal wellbeing - he runs Authentic Health based in Nottingham - and he is a qualified yoga teacher and Shiatsu practitioner as well as a popular Mindfulness teacher.
Expect this Workshop to include some movement and light physical stretching/exercise (which is very gentle and suitable for all, whatever your age or health limitations).
“Mindfulness is about being fully awake in our lives. It is about perceiving the exquisite vividness of each moment. We also gain immediate access to our own powerful inner resources for insight, transformation, and healing"
