A Saturday afternoon Workshop
with Pete Anderson
Saturday 28th January 2017, 1pm to 5.30pm
at The Tiger Boe Centre, 7 Clarendon St, Nottingham NG1 5HS
An afternoon with Pete Anderson, a leading Mindfulness teacher and wellbeing coach here in Nottingham, who will guide us gently through the art of using Mindfulness to "live better and act more wisely".
For more information, or to book your place, see below...
During this fun and interactive afternoon, we'll explore the ways in which Mindfulness can help us to navigate our path through life in a calmer, wiser and more effective way - helping us to reap both highly practical benefits (a smoother life that is increasingly free of "drama") and also the fruits of greater personal emotional (and psychological) maturity. In the course of the afternoon we will learn techniques that can help us to handle our feelings with greater balance...and with much greater compassion towards both ourself and others.
Pete is a highly experienced tutor and course facilitator. He also has extensive professional experience in holistic health and personal wellbeing - he runs Authentic Health based in Nottingham - and he is a qualified yoga teacher and Shiatsu practitioner as well as a popular Mindfulness teacher.
Expect this Workshop to include periods of group meditation and also some Mindful Movement (light physical stretching and simple exercise which is very gentle and suitable for all, whatever your age or health limitations).
“Mindfulness is about being fully awake in our lives. It is about perceiving the exquisite vividness of each moment. We also gain immediate access to our own powerful inner resources for insight, transformation, and healing"
